Y2K Photo Editor is a free browser-based photo editor and procedural design studio. Photo decoding, effects, art generation and export run on the visitor's device. The app has no image-processing server and does not require an account.

## Photo editing and exports

The editor accepts JPG, PNG and WebP up to 5 MB. Free photo exports keep the input format where supported, have no watermark and are limited to 1080 pixels wide. Each asset studio exports one no-watermark PNG at a time, also up to 1080 pixels wide. Photo and artwork downloads share a five-export limit per UTC day stored in the browser. Original-size, batch and video features, saved/shared presets and commercial licensing are planned only; Pro, payment and the waitlist are not available.

The site uses a local Canvas 2D effects engine. It does not upload selected photos. Original procedural artwork is generated by the site's own canvas drawing code rather than copied from a third-party gallery.

## Privacy and analytics

No Google Analytics or advertising provider is configured by default. Google Consent Mode starts with analytics and advertising consent denied. If public provider IDs are configured for a deployment, the corresponding external scripts load only after a visitor opts in, and then after interaction or a 3.5-second delay. Declined analytics remain local and are not sent to a provider. Analytics events never include image pixels or file names.
